Burton James Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch 1

Gold Medal winning craftsmanship! Our Reserve line features very small blends of the best and extra aged barrels we find.

Batch 1 is a blend of only two barrels of 10 year old bourbons. They were the the last two barrels from the original 16 barrels we bought in January 2015 to start our barrel aging program. Only 240 bottles produced.

Barrel Proof 121.7 / 60.85% ABV - Non-Chill Filtered.

Blend Information
Two Barrels of 75% Corn; 21% Rye; 4% Malted Barley Bourbon aged 10 Years. Distilled in Indiana.

Tasting Notes
At 121.7 Proof this two barrel blend drinks surprisingly easy. The aroma is complex with oak sweetness and vanilla. Drinking neat gives tastes of citrus, nutty, sweet vanilla, and oakiness without being tannic. The finish is long, pleasant and fruit forward. This is a Bourbon you'd be proud to share!
